Stopped here during our 3-hr Taxi tour around the Island from the Four Seasons. Didn't dip our toes in the water stream, but the Hotel was amazing to see! You can just imagine all the stories to be told!

The Hot Spring hut is in good shape, but the nearby hotel has seen better days. It is not a place for tourists. Locals take baths there and in the nearby stream.

Natural hot water from hot springs! Placed my feet in the water, aches and pain just melted away. Recommended to all users aging folks.

This was supposedly the first hotel ever opened in the Caribbean, dating back to 1778. Historic figures like Alexander Hamilton and Horatio Nelson stayed there. In fact, Hamilton was married there. There's not much to see there, now, but the hot springs are still open if you want to take a dip. I highly recommend this place just so you... More

This warm water spring - some sort of volcanic vent - is quite delightful - and free. It is pretty warm and we just had a paddle.

We stopped here as part of a bike tour of the island. We stood in the water up to our low thighs. It was toasty warm and legs did feel good. We did not go back a second time.

We just visited the site to see how it had changed since our last visit to Nevis and were pleasantly surprised – particularly by the addition of a nice little shop near the entrance. Housed in a traditional clapperboard building which used to be her grandmother’s shop, Ellen sells some local produce like honey and coconut oil, as well as... More

It turns out that it was appropriate we did the hot springs after seeing the Hamilton museum. Both are being neglected and falling so short of their potential. The hot springs is truly a unique feature of Nevis. What other island in the Caribbean has a volcanic/geothermal heated mineral water spring? This is three starts purely on potential. Here are...
