Worth a visit as this is situated in small but beautiful gardens, and access for walks through Rainforest. Watch Ladies processing the material and making patterns inches away, and describing how it all works. Very clever, and also a time consuming, process which might explain why it is so expensive. However, quality always comes at a price.

Women showed how batik is made and the seeps that are taken. it's a slow process. I would call this a cottage industry designed for tourists. Everything they make is for sale, My wife was a buyer (surprise! surprise!). The entire process is interesting with colorful results .

We secured a local driver ("Joe Herbert" - a local historian and minister who spent the day taking us to the places WE wanted to see - he was awesome and we want to give him a "shout out"!) and went to see Caribelle Batik. The artists there and the fabrics they create are impressive. There are beautifully landscaped gardens... More

We stopped at Caribelle Batik as a stop on a cruise excursion. Very interesting the method of making batik and we enjoyed the demo. We learned a lot. Batik is beautiful but pricey. It is set in a beautiful garden setting. A nice place to stop for a bit and added to our island experience.

Not only can you learn of the heritage of St Kitts, have the art of batik explained and gain a fast appreciation for this art form but there are beautiful gardens to enjoy, art to see, all for the low admission price of $3usd! Bargain and well worth the time.

The grounds are immaculate and the views are breathtaking. The tour guides demonstrate the art of Batik and there are plenty of items for purchase. Many tour companies stop here along their way, so it can get quite crowded. Make sure your tour goes here.

What an amazing place!! We went on a tour and the flowers, trees and scenery is amazing!! Even the monkeys peeked out to wave ... Grey's tours (sackville grey) was our guide! They have a great shop to purchase local items.. I'd say it's a must see if your in area.

Located at Romney Manor, Caribelle Batik has an excellent demonstration of all the steps necessary for the production of the beautiful Batik fabric. Product can be seen drying during production. After seeing the manufacture you have the opportunity to purchase items made locally.

We saved this spot for our last day and almost didn't go and that would have been a mistake! Caribelle Batik is located on a hillside and features a Batik "factory" where the locals produce handmade items in a true local business. When you enter the building, you are greeted by women who know the art and provide a demonstration... More

This was one of the stops of our island tour. Unbelievable place. Beautiful gardens and jungle. The main attraction id the batik products. The colors were phenomenal. Two women were demonstrating how the batik is made. There were many articles for sale of batik. My wife bought a beach wrap and I bought a shirt. You cannot come to this... More
