So worth the walk to the top. Fabulous views of nearby islands and the volcano. Don’t miss this spot but do try to go when there are no (or only 1/2) cruise ships in port.

We stopped at Brimstone Hill as part of our St. Kitts island tour. It is a very neat historic fortress with beautiful views of the island and the ocean.

My wife and I hired a taxi from our hotel in Frigate Bay to visit this fortress. Although it cost US$60, it was worth it. It is well worth finding a friendly couple who also wish to visit the fortress to reduce the costs as...More

Not all the fort was restored. Imagination helps. Previous visits of similar forts too. It is located so high that you can see Montserrat and other islands. The staff is really nice. Though I don't recommend the food venue. Bring your own food!

Located at the top of the hill. The road up is about one lane and winding and steep in some part. On his way to the top of the hill, our bus driver had to cross two narrow arches that barely fit the bus. It...More

The Brimstone Hill Fortress located on St Kitts is an example of well preserved British designed fort from mid 1600's. It is complete with cannons showing the original military post. It has a great vantage point overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It is a UNESCO World...More

I would either take an excursion or get off the ship and at the end of the pier get a tour or taxi. The sit is far end of island and way up a hill, mountain, so give yourself enough time to get back to the ship. I would... More
