Not particularly concerning Aberdaron, this seems to be a celebration of the sea, shore and people of the Llyn Peninsula. Quite fascinating both visually and audibly; a lot of thought went into the design of this centre. I particularly liked the sound and light display....More

I felt I wanted to write this as so many comments around disappointment. Perhaps Porth y Swnt could put something up to explain what it is so folk can choose to visit. We've been a number of times now and love it. The reading of...More

A wonderful place to take time out to appreciate the landscape and people around you. There is a combination of poetry and original artwork together with an audio guide. The staff are friendly and helpful and at £2 per person it’s really well worth the...More

Useful quiet time and take in what it means to live and work on the Lyn Peninsula over generations. Great to listen to RS Thomas (visit the church) in Welsh. Not for everyone as very cultural but includes geology, poetry, farming, pilgrimage. May entertain kids...More

The National Trust building with a small shop and the history of the Llyn peninsular. With 4 holiday apartments adjacent along with car park. Cheap accomodation in a small beach side setting. Adequate shopping and plenty of places to eat and drink.

This was an unexpected but pleasant surprise in that it was a very modern museum experience. Art, poetry, ecology, history and more. A lovely interpretation of the area.

Well worth the visit. Wish I had allowed more time. There were many aspects covered that I missed. There was also an activity area that children especially would enjoy.
