My Favorite Shop on the Planet
Jan. 2020
Pure Art truly is the most magical gift and art shop you will ever hope to find. I love the wide range of prices that allows people to find something to delight them, whether you're shopping on a budget or you don't have to check price tags. The owner Debbie is always warmly cheerful and helpful, celebrating the gifted artists whose pieces she sells as well as the customers who walk in the door.

Having spent a week in Grand Cayman several different times, when I came back on a cruise ship and thought about shopping the touristy souvenir places across from the terminals, I winced. The most fun, engaging, and delightful shop in the world was just a mile away! What a joy to visit Pure Art again.

If you have the margin to visit this marvelous taste of Cayman, don't miss it. You will be so blessed!

Disappointing
Nov. 2019
This little shop was PACKED with stuff. I was looking for a coffee mug to give as a gift and the only ones I found were more than 90CI each!
The Cayman's use to be affordable, but now it has become the playground for the rich and those who want to pretend to be rich. An adequate line of credit is necessary.
We have been coming each year to the Caymans since 2002 and have really noticed the inflation in food, rental cars, hotels and plane fare.
The island hopes to have an additional 1 million tourists per year on already crowded beaches and challenged highway infrastructure and trash everywhere. I will return, but for how long I cannot say.

Original Art from the area

I love bringing home art from places I visit and this was a delightful shop full of creative items. Owner was helpful in finding hooked rugs and art made of sea glass.

Forget factory made gifts - see what the local artists have to offer!

My daughter lives in Cayman and suggested that we pay Pure Art Gallery & Gifts a visit. I had driven past the sign several times in my way to George Town, I am so glad I made the stop!
This place is a real pleasure to visit-it is an Aladdin’s cave full of treasures.
BE PREPARED TO BE IMPRESSED! Every nook and cranny (and there are plenty) gives another delight.

Terrific place for unconventional and high quality gifts and souvenirs. Mostly consignment by local artists which added a lot of variety to the offerings. Well worth the visit. Lovely people.

Unique, Affordable and Choices Galore
Aug. 2019
Pure Art turned out to be one of our favorite stops during our vacation. Its just a little past the hubbub of Georgetown and is full of caymanite, art, jewelry, pepper jelly, candles, kitchen items, etc. The store is full of items made by local artisans. Kind and friendly owners take great pride in their store. We ended up going twice during the week.

Pure Art Cayman

Absolute favourite shop on the island! This store is truly unique and supports local artists. Shopping local always is always best - and you get one of a kind items. My daughter bought a conch shell that was caught locally by Richie. The shop owners son (sorry I forget his name) was so kind to us and educated us on conch shells and how they were in season. He wrapped up the conch shell so well that it was in perfect condition once we arrived in Canada. The staff at Pure Art Cayman are so well rounded - educated, polite and have a laid back island vibe that welcomes people from all walks of life. Thank you all - we will see you next time!

Best shop on the island!
Jul. 2019 • Family
Most souvenir shops have all the same stuff. This place is the real deal. Most of the things for sale in the shop are made here on GC, and there's something in everybody's price point. The owner is a super nice lady. ALSO, there's a 'little library' outside, take a book, leave a book. Skip all the cookie cutter t-shirt places at the port or 7 mile beach and go to this shop!
