Cayman's Best Shore Diving Cayman’s best value 2 tank dive! Eden Rock Diving Center is situated a short swim from two of the world’s best shore dives Eden Rock and Devil’s Grotto. The coral reefs rise in vertical cliff faces from a 40 foot sand bottom to within a few feet from the surface. Both Eden Rock and Devil’s Grotto are honey combed with caves, tunnels and grottos inhabited by many tropical fish, coral and sponges including Silversides and Tarpon. The entry is down a diving ladder is into 4 feet of clear and calm Cayman water the bottom gently slopes out to 15 feet the rises to within a few feet of the surface before dropping to a sand bottom. There are many tunnels running through the reef with openings in the coral allowing sunbeams to light the way.

We had a great time doing a shore dive and snorkeling with friends and family. Very helpful staff and reasonable prices. Easy to access the water via ladders into the bay directly behind the shop. Just a few minutes drive from 7 me beach.

Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto are two sites that are near and dear to my heart, having dived them since I was a kid in the late 60's. Deepa and the staff are friendly, and pleasant to work with. If you are on a cruise...More

I have been snorkeling here at least 6 times and it is awesome. You can bring your own snorkeling gear or rent at the dive shop where the owner is really nice.

Excellent snorkeling with east access via ladders into the water. Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto are a short swim from shore and by far our favorite spot. We keep coming back and have seen some amazing sea life - sharks, rays, turtles, tarpon, etc. The...More

I love this dive site, especially when the silversides are in town. I especially love exploring the caves/swim throughs! They are absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Cayman!

A must shore dive in Grand Cayman. Much better marine life than you would think so close to town. Great tarpon and schools minnows.

This local center is just outside Georgetown and an easy walk. Great for snorkeling and shore dives. Facilities are bare bones but they do have tables to kit up, a shower, rinse tank and ladder entry. Rental tanks and gear available. Lockers to rent and...More

We've snorkeled all over the Caribbean. Eden Rock has one of the easiest access (several ladders) to the water. The water was clear with lots of beautiful fish and coral. We had brought our own gear, and they even have an area to rinse off...More

Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto are about 100 yards apart. Eden Rock is about 500 feet from the 2 ladders and is marked by a white buoy. Both spots are away from boat traffic. The best times to go there are when there are few... More
