We visited this exciting destination in April 2018. We were in a cruise in the west Caribbean with Carnival Glory. It was a half day trip starting with a visit to the sea turtle breeding centre followed by the visit to a submerged sandbar in...More

We booked an excursion on the Celebrity Edge to see Sting Ray city. It is a 25- 30 minute boat ride out to the sand bar where the sting rays are located. The water is shallow-3 to 4 feet deep and easily traversed. There are...More

Great sail out to mingle with and feed stingrays. Really enjoyed sailing on their catamaran. This charter team treats the rays humanely. No manipulation or rough treatment like some of the others we observed. Book with them. Go early in the day to avoid crowds....More

To get up and close with this many friendly stingrays was definitely a unique experience. Yes it is touristy and can get way too crowded but it was a lot of fun.

Booked at Morritt’s, one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. A short boat ride out, standing in chest deep water surrounded by so many stingrays, absolutely in awe of their beauty and gentleness. A must do on Grand Cayman.

If you have never been, this is a great highlight. Having stingrays all around you, feed them, pet them -it's amazing. Be prepared it's not in a restricted area or park - it's out in the open water. The guides are all well trained and...More

I was nervous about being in the water with the stingrays (not a huge fan of "creatures" swimming near me), but they were gentle and SO soft! Our guide let each person/couple hold an animal and feed if wanted. The water at Stingray City was...More

This was, by far, my favorite thing at Grand Cayman. Our tour guide was a blast, he made sure and answered all of our questions, kept us laughing and made sure everyone was having fun. There were several times he would change out the stingrays...More

We did this excursion for my granddaughter who is 11, had a good time, they are very gentle creatures. We were able to feed them and snorkel out in the lagoon.

You have to take a boat. Pretty sure you can only go to the sandbar by tour. Pick a small tour as it is more personal and in morning so not so many other boats are around.

Yes, absolutely. Different types of boats, catamarans make trips out to Stingray City and there are different types of ladders into/out of the water but I think that they are manageable. We had a small child on our trip who... More
