Starfish are not really exciting - they just don't move too fast - but they are interesting and beautiful. There were probably about 20 easily seen starfish in the fairly small area we explored. The water is barely deep enough for snorkeling but definitely worth the effort. In addition to the basically stationary starfish, other species like pipefish can easily... More

Hampered by bad weather but lovely, quiet, sandy beach. Great for families as water is shallow. Not many starfish to be seen but suspect it was the weather.

Very calm waters and so many starfish!! Our children loved finding the starfish! you have to be mindful to not remove them from the water. Really cool experience.

The beach itself was great to hang out at on a nice day. Lots of sun and shallow waters. Even saw some fish come to the top. I wouldn't be too excited to see an abundance of starfish. We saw 2-3 max. Still fun to drop in and check it out :)

We spent 3 days on the beach in the morning when it was quiet before the boats and crowds. Excellent beach and great fishing. We released all fish caught.

A little difficult to find, but a short walk to the site once you park. The starfish are all in shallow water and easy to see. We probably saw a dozen. We had to wonder if the tour boats "planted" the starfish early in the morning since they were all located in a concentrated area. But whatever the case, it... More

I would highly recommend the tour that takes you out to starfish point on jet skis and then lets you interact with the stingrays - the snorkeling wasn't great but you really got to get up close with the rays and the guides were very informative and added to the experience

We were here about 10 years ago, and it was fantastic. It was a little known beach, no one was ever there, it was private, clean, and there were starfish everywhere. Could not wait to go back. It is now a tourist attraction, there were 4-5 boats in, we saw 5 starfish total. It was just not the same experience.... More

As part of the stingray tour we were taken to star fish point. The water was shallow and clear. One of the boatmen went diving for the fish. The were not out on the open. They found two star fish. We were able to see other fish in this area because the water was so clear.

We went here a couple times. One day by boat and the other by car since we were staying in Rum Point. The starfish are not only close to the beach but many are also further out. They are quite lovely. I think many people handle them and put them where they want in the water (so they are close... More
