Would not suggest this garden as a "must do". Although I am sure there are times during the year the garden is in full bloom and more impressive, the alternative is pretty unimpressive. The Blue Iguanas were hard to spot, and you had to peak through very tiny windows to even see them in the pens. Maybe because we live... More

I make a point to visit the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park every year. It is a beautiful place to see the many diverse types of plants and flora that grows on the island. Everything is nicely labeled. The gardener's soul is fed - especially if the gardener is from a colder climate...like Wisconsin!

This beautiful gem is off the beaten track and perhaps not everyone's cup of tea but if you like trees, birds, iguanas, butterflies and a great nature walk you will love this place.

It was small, was not much to see. You can walk the whole place in half an hour. We did see blue iguana.

Took almost an hour to get there from the ship. Some of the roads, walkways were a bit mangy and seemingly not well kept - but I think WE expected too much. However, the guide, Hal, was smart, knowledgeable, and entertaining. We would have skipped this adventure if I knew then what we know now.

We visited in March so not the best season for viewing flowers. Well laid out though and would likely be superb in orchid season. A pleasant quiet interlude.

I took my Special Needs adult daughter to the Botanic Park, specifically to see the blue iguanas, she loves iguanas. To get to the blue iguana enclosure we walked through most of the park. It is in poor shape. The Orchid Garden did not have even one living orchid in it. There was not one blooming orchid and the ones... More

A great activity on a day between dives. The variety of plant and animal life is wonderful! The place to see the rare Cayman Blue Iguana. A nice atmosphere and educational way to spend an afternoon!

The park is well presented and very pleasant to walk around. We saw green parrots, a green heron and a grey heron together with various other birds. We also saw an agouti. Unfortunately we didn't see a wild blue iguana. Because of stray dog attacks, the management has had to move the iguanas into pens for their safety. We thoroughly... More

This lovely oasis of colors, trails, and history of the island's heritage was absolutely worth it, and the shade on a hot day was a welcome relief. We hiked through the entire park in about 2.5 hours (might take longer if the orchids are in bloom...they weren't when we were there in early March), stopping to enjoy a few scenic... More
