I am already trying to figure out the next time we’ll be back to the Baths! Our cruise ported in Tortula and we took the public ferry boat to the Baths, Virgin Gorda! What an incredible location! The granite stones are just perfect backdrops for photos! We unfortunately didn’t take our snorkel gear (thinking we wouldn’t have had time to snorkel). Wish we did! The water was absolutely crystal clear and the most gorgeous blues we’ve ever seen! We paid the few bucks to walk down to Devil’s Bay through the boulders of the famous Baths! Make note that if you have enough time, go all the way down to Devil’s Bay- because once you go through the caves, there is no going back unless you walk all the way back up and then pay to go down again. Totally worth the trip- do not miss out on this incredible and unique place! We mostly avoid the cruise line rush hour and had the place to ourselves.

I opted to explore the easier trail and strolled down a winding path to a gorgeous, mostly deserted beach studded with huge boulders. The scenery was stunning. After taking photos along the water's edge, I sat at a shady table to write in my journal. During my peaceful morning, I enjoyed the sound of the sea, the warm sunshine and the blissfully serene setting. Up above the beach at the top of the trail, colorful shops and an inviting outdoor restaurant with a swimming pool await visitors who need a break from the sun.…
