About
Anegada or the "drowned island" is completely surrounded by shallow reefs, and has become the focal point of underwater diving due to the many historic shipwrecks that litter the island's underwater depths.

Great place to visit for a Wonderful lobster dinner! Take extreme caution approaching the Island and watch for shallow reefs. Highly recommend the tour of the Island. Dennis was a great taxi driver. He delivered us to Loblolly Bay for an afternoon of snorkeling and...More

Great stop and worth the 3 hour sail from VG. Took the cab ride to Big Bamboo and Loblolly Bay. Marlin came out to guide us through the channel but its pretty straightforward. Great little, quiet island.

First of all, why in the world does Trip Advisor not have Anagada as a separate place from Tortola? I know it is a little off the beaten path but that is ridiculous! This place is AMAZING! If you can get over there, first go...More

Can’t say enough about how beautiful this island is. Cow Wreck and Loblolly beaches which, despite the seaweed, are breathtakingly beautiful. The pink flamingos were hard to spot but we found them eventually. Can’t wait to get back.

We really enjoyed touring the island on a scooter, for sure a must do. When it comes to lobster, the best hands down can be found at Anegada Reef Hotel. Given that it is a small island, ALL eateries require that you submit your dinner...More

I don't know. Saw rentals in Anegada, where the flat terrain favors their use. I would be intimidated by the Tortola (steep, windy) roads.

There is a ferry that goes to Anegada three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and if you are lucky also Sunday. You can check online beforehand on the departure and arrival times.
