Anegada or the "drowned island" is completely surrounded by shallow reefs, and has become the focal point of underwater diving due to the many historic shipwrecks that litter the island's underwater depths.

We have been to the BVI's about 10 times and this is our favorite islands. Walking the long beaches is a pleasure. I suggest visiting Cow Wreck Beach Bar for a pleasant day and Whispering Pines for a great lobster.

A must visit is the Wonky Dog restaurant! They have fresh, huge lobster that is the most tender and tasty I've ever had!

Worth the effort to see this small flat island with its clean beaches and coral reef. Make sure to see the Iguana sanctuary. Nice to chill out during the day on the beaches and then later eat the local lobster.

Great place to rent a motor scooter and shoot around the island for a few hours. Great beaches and a few nice bars to kick back on. ENJOY!

If you are in the BVI you must do Anegada Island. We were on a catamaran so were able to choose when we went there. It is a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip. We had lobster at Neptune's Treasure - best lobster ever! Michelle and her husband are the proprietors and her mother, Pam, has... More

Visited for two night before island hopping and wish we stayed longer. We stayed at the ABC in the glam tent right on the beach and it was awesome. We are going to make this a stop for a few days every year we liked it that much. Almost no people any where we went and we like that.

Anegada can be a little challenging to get to however worth the trip (fyi,we sail there). You are greeted by SAM (who also cooks your meal...lobster, steak, pasta...) and ensures your time on the 4 x 11 mile Island is exactly what you'd expect it to be. We rent Moped's and tour all the Resorts for "Happy Hour". Cow Reck... More

Anegada is unlike any place in the Caribbean I have ever been. There isn't much variety as far as activities go but that's part of the appeal. I have gone for 2 night and have found that it's just the right length of stay to experience it all. However, if you intend to unwind or recharge the soul, it would... More
