I love Nanny Cay, and come most days when I'm on holiday in BVI. The beach is not the prettiest, the sand is not the softest, and they've just started charging $5 for the beach chairs - but if you are on your own, there is always plenty of action going on - boats going out of the marina or... Well kept marina, lots of attractive yachts, a beach bar and restaurant (Peg Legs) and a small beach and good sized pool. We play bridge there Tuesday and Friday at 9 am during the season and newcomers are welcome. There is also a chandlery, various marine stores, and a small grocery (Rite Way) plus various shops and a spa. The... More

This was our first stop after riding the ferry from St. Thomas. We chartered a sailboat from Horizon Yacht Charters for a week. This marina was a great place, on the smaller side but it had everything that we needed. There were showers located at the Nanny Cay Hotel for the use of the boaters. There is a Riteway Grocery... Stayed at Village Cay on way in, and Nanny Cay on the way out (see my Village Cay review if you are so inclined). Nanny much better. Both just moderate in price so both are just ok. But of the two, Nanny is FAR better. More to do, beach right on site, pool heated, more restaurant choices, few shops that... More

We had either breakfast or lunch at Genaker's almost every day! Good menus, reasonable prices and great service - "Best food on the island, mon!" Thanks, Devon! Blue Water Divers is the best place to rent snorkeling equipment and the Riteway is perfect for provisioning.

Restaurants and bars were wonderful! Beach bar could have served sparkling wine, but Pino Grigo did OK. Found everything we needed at the grocery and souveneers were outstanding! Wish I had had more time for clothes shopping.

A lovely bay where you can do a bit of shopping and hop on a sailboat for a beautiful week of sailing.

Nanny Cay is very well set up to service yachts. It is sheltered, there is a chandlery and several yacht servicing businesses operating out of there. If you are sailing in the BVI Nanny Cay is worth a visit.
