A perfect getaway for a day, this charming, half-mile strip of soft white sand is isolated and rarely visited since it is accessible only by a small dirt road.

Visited Long Bay beach resort for a massage in May 2015 and had some time to walk around afterward. Beautiful white sand beach. Wasn't overly busy in the mid morning yet. Sand was pretty warm though. Walked along the beach.

OMG this was totally serene. Only 2 people were there when we went. It's like being on your own private island.

Funnily enough, this is a long beach at the western end of Tortola, looking out to Sandy Cay and Jost van Dyke. Clean, shallow wi small waves, so suitable for younger children

We were visiting Tortola on a cruise and they canceled our excursion due to the high tide. We were speaking with another couple and told them we wanted to find a beautiful secluded, not crowed beach since I saw the bus loads being shuttled over...More

This is a great place to walk on the beach or sit down for a bite to eat. It's not the best snorkeling area because the water tends to be a little rougher, but it's still nice water to go into. Make sure to bring...More

First, to be clear... there are two Long Bay beaches in Tortola. Both are great and both deserted. One, next to the airport (actually on Beef Is) is the locals' choice; the other towards west end, with part occupied by the Long Bay resort. Ignoring...More
