A great smugglers cove. Hidden areas of the beach to just go and explore if you love to snorkel and see whats under the sea. Great for families and kids.

out of the way and an expensive taxi fare on the worst road imaginable, but what a treasure. there are no words to describe the natural beauty of this beach. the colors, the nature in fullness and absolutely pristine--we have not done the entire world in! what a way to be reminded of god's absolute mastery. i did not partake... Pretty warm blue water (28 C at March) with no waves, flat sandy bottom, no crowds. Normal road to beach (many reviews say it's extremely bad road to, I would note that reviewers probably didn't see really bad roads in Tortola).

It is a nice sandy beach with clear waters and few people. It has a port a potty and snack shop (did not seem open when we visited). The views are picturesque with aqua water all around. We visited from our cruise ship renting a SUV in town. The map provided and the road map on Google earth are not... More

Nice beach. Has all our needs there. Water can have some cool spots but that is okay when you are hot. This beach does get very crowded so arrive early to get a good deck chair.

We drove to Smuggler's Cove from Cane Garden Bay and thought it was a bit difficult to get to. We were never really sure we were on the right road...not many signs along the way, and some of the roads were pretty rough. Once there, it is a beautiful beach...not many amenities. Nigel's at one end of the beach is... More

not only is this a fabulous, almost private, beach that is perfect for sunning, swimming, snorkeling and paddle boarding, it also has Nigel there offering food, "painkillers", renting equipment, etc. A real beach hangout and a great guy!

We were beginner snorkelers and this was a nice place to give it a shot. Water is beautiful. Beach is amazing. Had a good time with snorkeling and also just wandering around the water. Had a drink at Nigel's. We visited Smuggler's Cove 4 times in 6 days. Only spent a couple of hours on it each time, but it... More

We nearly turned back as we travelled down the dirt road, filled with pot-holes, then suddenly... there it was!

Getting there is not easy -road bumpy with deep holes and not suitable for a regular car (although we did it with a minivan). But once you're there you forget everything and you're faced with an idyllic, heaven-like, absolutely stunning beach. Palm trees offer shade and a beach bar the basics (water, drinks, food). One of the best experiences we've... More
