Centrally located on Tortola's north side, this is probably the busiest beach since its beauty is often compared to Magen's Bay on St. Thomas.

Cane Garden Bay is truly a slice of paradise. A gorgeous long crescent of beautiful sand and crystal clear water. Exactly what you think of when you think of a Caribbean beach. So beautiful. Perfect sunsets too. We immediately gave up any hope of exploring Tortola after arriving here. No need to leave such perfection. This is also quite away... More

The journey to this location is exciting in itself if you take one of the local taxi's - many hairpin bends, steep climbs and descents. Well worth the effort though to spend the day in such a beautiful location. There are many bars and places to eat - most providing free wifi and sun loungers to their customers

This is a nice, typical Caribbean beach with decent facilities, golden sand, palm trees, clear blue water and so on! It can get busy though, as it's not a well kept secret! Brewer's Bay, which is the next beach along the coast, is quieter and has some reasonable snorkelling around its rocks. Getting a taxi from Road Town is an... More

We absolutely love this beach. Been 3 times now and are still amazed when the pelicans dive into the water next to you fishing. We took the trip from our cruise ship. If you visit Tortola this is the beach to go to no doubt. Lots of nice little bars and restaurants as well.

Cane Garden Bay Beach is a small crescent shaped beach with an incredible view, buoyed on both sides by forested hills dotted by homes. Looking straight out from the beach is a smaller island, Sandy Cay, and Jost Van Dyke behind it, in the distance beyond at least half a dozen anchored sailboats. And with island tiki-music providing the perfect... More

Stopped here for the day. $14.00 round trip from the cruise port. $5.00 per chair and umbrella. Get their early as it extremely popular and it does get crowded. Plenty of service walking around or you can walk up yourself. $15.00 buckets of cold beer and great food. Go to Myetts and order a Mahi burger for $10.00. Beach is... More

We visited this beach when our cruise ship docked in Tortola as part of an Island tour. There was not one free spot on the beach to put a towel down. The thing was that it was not over-crowded with people but it was over-crowded with chairs, over half the chairs were empty. There was not one foot of free... More

This is definitely a popular beach but it wasn't crowded. It is not a secluded couples beach if that's what you're looking for. Inexpensive drinks but food was pricey as expected. You can rent chairs and umbrellas. Our kids played on a giant floating trampoline for hours. Good family choice.
