Mardis Gras with local dancers & great bands, and not highjacked by LGBT contingent.

The Mardi Gras happens in Grand Case on Tuesday nights, between 7 & 10pm, with a marching band and bedecked dancers marching down the main street to great drum beats. Take a meal... read more

Held every Tuesday evening with lots of street vendors. Quality ranges from junk to good local art and crafts. There's music and a fun parade. Parking is a nightmare, take a cab.

Grand Case has a lot to offer. World class French restaurants, great lolos, this Tuesday night festival... But the one huge problem is parking. We always rent a car here but parking at Grand Case is always a nightmare. Sometimes we sneak in past the airport and park in the dark, rocky lot (?) a quarter mile from the town... More

This is a must do in Grand Case. Mardi Gras parade though small is highly entertaining. Street food and restaurants go all out to make this an enjoyable evening. Markets and music add to the atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening

The Mardi Gras happens in Grand Case on Tuesday nights, between 7 & 10pm, with a marching band and bedecked dancers marching down the main street to great drum beats. Take a meal & drinks, or barbecue, in one of the beach-facing restaurants before the marching event. Other local bands, including the Jolly Boys, take up fixed places alongside the... More

Apparently this festival only happens 8 times/year, so if you're lucky enough to be around when it happens, it's a must-do! Street festival with food vendors, plenty of restaurants (from upscale, celebrity-reviewed to steakhouses with back patios) - alongside booths where artists show their work and sell jewellery, and a street parade of dancers and drums. Highly recommended!

What a fun time for the street parade. Lots of people in the narrow street with street vendors, food LOLA's and great Carribean music. We stayed about 3 hours from 6-9 pm and it was great!

Heard the drums and singing and festivities from Piazza Pascal. I knew it had to be the street festival, and I was right! Not sure if anyone has experienced "Carnival" but this is a small taste of what it is like. If you walk up and down Grand Case Blvd you will find food from the locals, handmade clothing &... More

Last night (April 5th) was the last Carnival-like party for 2016 in Grand Case. It was simple and quite pleasant. There was a mini-parade and lots of street vendors selling, food, drinks, art and trinkets. The main boulevard was blocked to vehicle traffic for pedestrian safety. This allows the Lolos to put extra seating in the streets. All the fancy... More

We were there on a Tues night. The street was closed for a market complete with art, food, trinkets and local music. Very exciting and fun.

Always a fun night to spend in Grand Case. The selection of restaurants in almost endless, and fits every price range. The entertainment is fantastic - from the parade that goes up and down the Main Street; to the collection of side bands - you don't have to look far to be entertained. I wish they had a better handle... More
