Best view of marigot!

This is a french fort up on a hill. There are some can ons and ruin of the fort, not much to see as a fort but the views of the town and ocean are awesome!

The view from this fort is spectacular. You can take in the views of Marigot as well as the ocean from up high, while you sit back and enjoy the cool Caribbean breeze. It's free, parking is plentiful and the street is not hard to find. Great for a picnic!

This is a fort with a view. The view is stunning almost in all directions that you look. We took lots of pics from here and I wished that we had brought a picnic. Parking is difficult at site.

We were headed up together to see the fort however it is not handicapped accessible so my husband had to go alone. First disappointment. Not alot of signs for directions second disappointment it meant alot of extra walking up the mountain. Once he found it the views from the top was simply worth the walk. Would love to have seen... For just a short climb, you can experience the most amazing views of the island. My children loved it and I felt as though I was on top of the world.

I have visited SXM for decades (as a kid, teen and now an adult) I have always seen this fort but never even thought of trying to get to it. Well on this visit I decided to do it...and took my kids and wife with me. The walk up to the top was not bad...quite a few steps, but when... More

Great views of Anguilla and Marigot! And it's free! A nice place to stop for a half hour to check out some history. My kids (10 and 5) enjoyed it very much!

This has always been a great place to go . growing up here i remember when it was maintained a lot more. Over the years we can see that there has been little maintenance. i suggest when visiting to go with water. and be ready to walk in the HOT sun. there is nothing up there except you and whatever... While driving through Marigot, we saw the fort from the road and decided to go exploring. It was a little difficult finding the way to the Fort, but after consulting with a local businessman, we found the way and made our way to the top. The Fort is actually more ruins than Fort, however the views of the City and... More

As a fort goes there is not much left of it however it does offer spectacular views of the harbour. at night it is all lit up and looks great from Marigot. Well work a walk up there and having a picnic at the top.
