Paradise Peak or Pic Paradis as it is known in French, is the highest point on the island. We were on an atv tour and this was one of the stops. I think that unless you are very fit and like to hike, it would be better to go in an atv or at least as far as you can... More

I have done this drive many times, and will not think of it if its been raining. Any little car does not cope well with it, and its just a one way street, so you will have to turn around either at the tellcom tower at the summit or in a driveway before that. Great view. Bring mosquito bat.

we went with a tour and drove a solid amount up the mountain. the road up is safe, dont believe what others are saying. you will be fine if you drive up and hike the rest of the way. nobody will bother you. there are stunning expensive villas up in that area. the top offers stunning views of the whole... My husband and I loved this hike! The entrance is down Pic Paradis road on the right side. There is a sign with Loterie Farm. They don't open till 9am and it costs $5 a person to hike. There are two options, first is the hour hike and the other is a two hour hike. Some people say it takes... More

A little nerve-wracking on the drive up, but totally worth it when you catch that view! See the whole island from up there!

Paradise Peak on Saint Marten is worth the visit if you need a break from the sunny beaches and would like to visit the mountains, now the road is scary to drive and recommended you beep horn as you go up and down to alert other drivers or hikers. They have mokeys in the mountains eating fresh mango's but you... More

The 2 hour strenuous hike is best started in the morning if you start from the farm. You will truly enjoy using the pool there (there is a charge) and they start limiting entry around 4. You could drive to the telecom tower but the hike allows views of both sides of the island. We had a monkey cross the... More

We started our walk/hike from the parking spot at Loterie Farm and took the long route. Definitely wear proper shoes, clothing and bring water. Nice hike with some obstacles will be rewarded with an amazing view across the entire island. Starting at the farm not only provides a safe parking spot but also the opportunity to grab a super refreshing... More

I take it it's hit and miss but beware they are hiding in the bushes or somewhere. We drove to the very top and there was one other car. We locked the car and stupidly left some cash and a back pack in the car because we were just going down the trail a ways, take some pictures and go... More

Took a ride to the highest point in St. Martin. Quite a climb and not for the faint of heart. (I am talking about in a car, not on foot!) The road up was about as wide as one car (sub compact!) but was a two way road. Our very under powered car seemed like it might roll backwards at... More
