Our ship was rerouted, so even though I contacted the Candy Man previously to get my black licorice, we arrived before expected and he was out! He literally closed the store to make a quick run to accommodate my needs! The huge selection of 'different' candy is a MUST TRY! He NEVER disappoints his patrons! It's as much fun to... More

We were in search of candies from other countries and was requested of us and this place was perfect. The owner was super helpful and very nice. Free WiFi as well. He's been there for seven years.

Heard alot about this place so made sure to stop in. Owner was very friendly and helpful, but was somewhat disappointed in the candy selection. Most of it I could find back home in the states. Also, the shop looks bigger in pictures, but it is very small and cramped..can't fit many people inside at once.

Remember the 'penny' candy as a kid? This store has it and plenty more! It is stocked floor to ceiling with memories old and new...a fun surprise find on the boardwalk. Have fun!

If your in Phillipsburg at the breach front, don't forget to stop here. You can be a kid again, and if you have kids. They will love it. Without a question. The best place to buy candy on the whole island.

After my granddaughter and daughter went in (as I sat cooling off), they insisted that I go get something unique. The 'Candy Man' hooked me up with some black licorice that was KILLER! The only problem is, my next visit won't come soon enough! Feb 2017 - STOCK UP CANDY MAN!!!

Owner is a funny guy with many stories to tell. This place is a candy dream. The walls are lined with every kind of candy you can imagine. When not selling candy he can be found playing guitar.

Went there to get some candy for our grandson (which he could get over the Internet) because he had seen it there on a previous visit . Found we had a lot in common about the same age ,39, and if we could remember the late sixties and early 70's we may have known some of the same people and... More
