The gardens were really beautiful, well laid out with various paths leading off from the main route. The cost to get in was around £10-£12 for the two of us, but this didn't include the mineral baths. A lot of the plant displays have information...More

We took a private car to the gardens. We went sunday around 930am, they open around 10, but they let us in. NO ONE was there and we had the place to ourselves. Go early, as the troves of buses withy hundreds of people with...More

Diamond Botanical Gardens was a good activity with a lovely waterfall, although nothing spectacular. It was an easy walk in and out of the gardens and even the most unfit person could manage a visit. There were lovely plants and flowers inside but nothing that...More

Diamond falls is a great picture stop as well as refreshing on hot day. Access to the falls is easy as the spot is close to level to a walkway

Hello, How far is it from the cruise port? What would be the best transportation to get there?

The falls are about 2 hours from the cruise terminal. We rented a car and drove around, but that is risky. The safest bet would be a tour through the cruise or negotiate an all day tour with a taxi.
How much time should we plan for a visit to the gardens and the waterfall? How long does it take to get to the Diamond Waterfall? Is it a strenuous hike or more of a walk?
