I had read the comments about smaller boats, but After 10 days I can tell you the smaller boats are a big advantage. No doubt it's a bit of a ride from Rodney Bay to the dive sites. Steve's boats are faster than the big...More

Dive boats very good, but tight if full. We dove from the larger boat the first 5 days. New paint, looked good. Captain and dive masters were competent and friendly.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you were not perfectly satisfied.

We hadn’t planned on diving whilst in St Lucia, and had no idea what it involved. We popped to see Steve who was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He explained what was involved and ran through the basics before we made a decision to book.
Just finished 6 days of scuba diving with Steve’s Scuba Diving over the last two weeks. It is my pleasure to give them high marks, and my recommendation.
During my scuba diving days I had a mix of different Dive Masters of Chad, Neal, Alton....More
Enjoyed our 2 tank dive. My son and I dove a wreck area with some anchors but the most amazing part was the colorful coral! Just amazing! Good dive people just not very respectful to their passengers.. they were peeing off the side of the...More

We always dive our planned dive time (as long as somebody still has air). People are escorted back to the surface or boat by one of the dive guides whilst the rest of the group continue to dive with the other guide/s until our planned dive time is reached.
You do have to dive with a Dive Guide, after all, you do not know the topology of the dive sites or the way the currents behave. Unaccompanied diving is not permitted by law here in St Lucia.
