Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The plants and flowers were just gorgeous. I had only seen these green species in a tropical plant garden from a florist. The flowers and their fruits were amazing. Such beauty. I would love to have spent an entire day in the garden. We took so many pictures that would make beautiful wall prints. The waterfall was used in Romancing the Stone! Our guide was with Carnival Sailing and she was so GREAT!

We were lucky in that we were the only group visiting the Botanical Gardens. This allowed the guide to give us a personal tour. We took several photos of their beautiful flowers that we see only in vases, if we are lucky. The gardens are gorgeous. Diamond Falls is very nice but you cannot go under it for a shower for safety reasons. If you are interested in having a mineral bath, use the pools located at these gardens. There is another one nearby but I would suggest you do it only if you are in good shape because it's a 10-minute hike.

A lovely place to wander around for a couple of hours. Some very unusual and colourful flora and fauna. Highly recommend a visit.

We visited the botanical gardens. It was very interesting as the tour guide explained all the local fruits. It was hands on and we got to touch and smell nutmeg, etc. The flowers were very pretty. The waterfall was the one featured in the movie "Romancing the Stone".

Unless you are desperate for something to do in St. Lucia (unlikely given how amazing the island is), we would recommend not patronizing this garden and spending any of your money. The so-called "exotic" plants in the garden are easily accessible everywhere else on the island for free. Somehow, the owner of this garden has pulled off a coup and convinced people to come here. The tour guide we had was jaded and not helpful. The walk through the garden was uneventful. Just walk through any St. Lucian garden and you will see the same things.

well worth a visit. The gardens are lovely whatever the season, splendid to walk round. Kids loved it, lots of hidden pathways to explore, indoor plants are cool to see and photograph.

The botanical gardens used to be a lovely place to visit, you could spend the day there. Now visitors are put on a conveyor belt you are in and out within half an hour unless you bathe. The botanical gardens used to go up as far as the old mill, and there was a lawn on which you could picnic. I’m guessing that they are probably going to use that land for some other money making scheme, but they have not reduced the price at the door. If you are really in to plants you could go. If you were looking for a day out with the children, don’t bother you could spend the same money and entertain them for more than half an hour. I took my niece and nephew there for the 1st time and was so disappointed for them, not knowing how it had changed before arriving. It’s really not value for money.

I wouldn't have paid to see this separately as it was just OK, however this was part of an all day catamaran boat trip to Soufriere which included the visit to the gardens.

I do enjoy botanical gardens, but I felt this one was a bit disjointed. The paths were not well labeled and my wife and I inadvertently back tracked. The botanicals were beautiful and well labeled though.

If you are not into this, skip it, but if you are a fan, it's a worthwhile
