This beach 3 minutes away by taxi or 30 minutes walking distance from port of berth in Castries is great for anyone, couple or group to relax for " A DAY AT THE BEACH "

This is a fantastic beach with almost two miles of soft sand and gentle waves to stroll along or splash around in. We have spent our holiday walking daily along this stretch of beach and have to say that all of the locals we passed were some of the politest people we have met in the Caribbean.

St Lucia was a stop on our Southern Caribbean cruise. After a boat tour to the Pitons (an absolute must) we found a local cab driver to take us to a beach close to the port. We didn't know what to expect, and at first Vigie Beach didn't seem like much. There is a resort, but a security guard told... More

We visited Vigie Beach after a morning cruise down to see the Pitons. With the limited amount of time we had left (visited via cruise ship), our cab driver recommended this beach since it is close to the docks. We found the place to be a local delight. We were dropped off by Ms. Pam's beer and food stand where... More

Great beach find! Long strip of sand for walking. Lots of shade trees to throw a towel down under. No chair rentals or beachfront restaurants or hawkers--so lots of peace and quiet! We had the place practically to ourselves!

This is a long stretch of sandy beach, no facilities until you get to the hotel end and then limited. But a nice stroll or quick dip, you almost believe you are on your own until the usual local arrived trying to sell you tat. Head here for an hour or so but if you've got more time on your... More

We walked to Vigie Beach from Auberge Seraphine in 30 min. There was one small snack bar with food and beverages, shade, not much sandy beach but a nice view and quiet place. Cemetery is between it and airport. Shortest entrance to beach is at end of runway.

We arrived here 2 days ago and the hotel end of the beach is beautiful! Granted a little disappointed at lack of snorkeling opportunities but the warm water and clean beach more than makes up for that! If you visit I suggest u move up closer to rendezvous resort away from entrance

If you happen to be in Castries and you want a 2-3 hour beach experience - Vigie Beach is a short taxi ride away or a 30 minute walk. There are no facilities available to the public except a "snack shack" located near an access point from the road. Sure, you'll be approached to buy items from local vendors -... More

A great beach within a 25 minute walk from the cruise line dock, it is a bit busy when you get off the ship but well worth the walk. Once there is a local shack/bar for drinks, staff were very relaxed and friendly. Just look for Castries airport.
