Windwardside is a charming village as is the entire Island. There are multiple shops, restaurants and museums. Plus you get a workout walking the narrow streets through the village!

For some reason, the town seemed almost deserted. The biggest crowds we saw consisted of about ten people, maybe because it was Christmas week. Bizzy Bee Bakery is the center of activity, and the grocery store is just a few doors away.

Wow! Where to begin? My wife and I stayed on St. Martin for a week. We're adventurous travelers so we decided to take a small WinAir plane over to Saba and stay one night. Did I mention that Saba has the shortest commercial runway in the world? We took the first flight over on a Tuesday and the last flight... More

Very nice little town situated high up on the Saba mountain. Great views, loads of bars, friendly people and activities. Constantly windy, but it feels nice in the Saba sun!

Very interesting village. Most establishments took credit cards, friendly and safe. Short distance to most shops but some uphill walks.

Beautiful little village dotted with quaint cottages nested on a hillside. Pretty unique in the Caribbean - I have travelled to many islands and had never before come across an atmosphere quite like this one. Small center of town has several restaurants, an outdoor cafe; feels safe to wander around at any time of the day or evening. Complete absence... More

We have enjoyed our 5 day stay in Villa Fairview overlooking the small town Of Windwardside. We enjoy the walk down into town to look around and grab a bite to eat. If staying in a villa take advantage of the two grocery stores on the island for your basic needs. Fresh produce delivery is Wednesday on the island. I... More
