Nice trees in the courtyard. There was a yoga class in a side room when I was there. Impressive facade and grounds. Stop by when strolling around town.

No longer flying the tricolor, the old courthouse is used for various purposed, including classes. A statue of Victor Schoelcher stands outside in the plaza in front of the building. Across the street is the new, modern courthouse.

I don't know what it is used for now, I guess I have to find a tour guide to help me learn more about the town, but it is a beautiful old building to walk through.
