Amazing Garden

This garden was simply beautiful. Amazing display of all kinds of tropical plants. Layout was beautiful and highly recommended. 15 minute outside of Fort-de-France.

Although a bit expensive at €13.50 and almost €30 for a taxi to get there, it was a good experience. The garden itself is lovely and versatile and there are a few nice views. The canopy trail was fun too. Oh, and it turned out there is a bus from the city centre of Fort de France to the garden... More

Top notch garden in the Caribbean! We rented a van from St. Anne and it was worth it. Very well maintained grounds.

What a treat the visit was. It is well designed, peaceful, and even fun for kids thanks to the roped canopy walk and the playground.

A very nice, relaxing 1-2 hour walk with beautiful flowers and scenery. The rope overhead bridge was fun, with a nice view of the valley. All of the signs were in French (no English here!) And the gift shop workers spoke very little English (but tried!) The taxi drivers when we got off the cruise ship were very rude. So... More

The garden is well manicured, with a lot of blooming plants to enjoy. The front entrance has a tree that attracts humming birds and the sucrier (another small, yellow-breasted bird).

My wife and I toured the Botanical Gardens with a tour group during a Celebrity Caribbean East tour of Martinique. As we entered the garden, there were a series of hummingbird feeders with dozens of large hummingbirds fluttering around for some sweet juice. We were awed by the beautiful display of hundreds of Caribbean flowers and trees, a long swinging... More

I did´t expect much when we came. turned out to be a great experience. Beatiful planting, dramatic ravines, humminbirds and good information made it a very enjoyable visit.

Botanical gardens are pleasant enough to wander through and spend an hour or so. Well maintained and looked after with a pathway guiding you through the gardens (steps and quite steep in places). Some pretty impressive trees / plants but would have have been better if there were a few more info boards as you walk round. Some good photo... More
