We really enjoyed our guided tour! Very helpful staff, so thank you Luís! Very nice place to visit if you are near and have an hour to spend. Ticets are sold at the tourist office at the boulevard beside of nearby park.

We had the chance to visit the fort with Luis. He gave us lots of interesting historical and geographical information about the fort, the city and the island. It's worth it and I recommend it !

While in port during a cruise, the fort is an imposing structure that dominates a good portion of the waterfront from its imposing peninsula position. Unfortunately unlike many other forts throughout the Caribbean, you cannot simply walk up to the gate, enter and check it...More

Guided tours in English several times a day, even more guided tours in French. This was a fun activity, and the history very interesting.

Liked it very much. You got to like history, which I do. Otherwise, do not bother. Pretty view on the whole bay, personal perspective of our young enthusiastic guide.

The short road is gravel and dirt but should be accessible. If you have someone to guide you it should not be a problem
