was there last winter. was very interesting. lots of naval artefacts. great view of the harbour and city from the fort. didn't get a guide but lots to still look at.

We really enjoyed our guided tour! Very helpful staff, so thank you Luís! Very nice place to visit if you are near and have an hour to spend. Ticets are sold at the tourist office at the boulevard beside of nearby park.

We had the chance to visit the fort with Luis. He gave us lots of interesting historical and geographical information about the fort, the city and the island. It's worth it and I recommend it !

The short road is gravel and dirt but should be accessible. If you have someone to guide you it should not be a problem
