Easily accessible on the bay ferry, marina with numerous diving trip boats, restaurants, small supermarket, creole village shops, car hire, an array of sheltered bay beaches, a good cheap option for the cruise passengers, large Tui resort on the end.

This is probably the best area for nightlife in Martinique packing a multitude of bars, restaurants and nightlife that gives also additional value to the neighboring hotels as a possibility to walk for dinner is a nice advantage in a rhum island. I definitely recommend...More

It's a 16 minute ferry ride over to Pointe de Bout. After getting off the ferry, follow the deck and turn right onto the street. Cross the street and follow the path to the beach. It's a super easy walk and very quick. My first...More

A bit run down and the beach is just ok. $20 for a lounger, and $6 for a large bottled water. Beach is small and rocky. I didn't hate it but didn't love it either.

Our cruise ship wound up docking at the Fort de France pier instead of anchoring off of Anse Mitan. I had wanted to go to Anse Noir, but with the change of plans I had to improvise. From Fort de France, the water taxi is...More

Lovely little place to stay, especially if you are not a driver. There is a ferry to fort de France, and the taxi collectif (bus) for trips to the gorgeous le Diamant, Anse D'Arlet and so on. Nice bakery, a mini supermarket, cafes, restaurants and souvenir...More

If you’re in Martinique, go early to see the park, the cathedral, the library, and the shopping street, then get on the ferry and go to one of these small towns where people are friendlier and more open to answering questions. We thought this area...More

The chairs are $10 each to rent. I believe it’s euro only, as are most places on the island.
