Bio Mosquito Bay is located on the Southern side of Vieques Island. Its evening kayak tours are offered by a wide range of companies. All tours start at Sun Bay parking lot. We booked with Viator for the 7:00pm bio kayak tour and they placed us with Blue Waters. They are in the first parking position when you arrive. This... More

After much research we chose Blackbeard Sports for our Bio Bay Tour, and we had a fantastic experience. The bus ride to the bay seemed like only a few minutes (our driver was outstanding... Funny, informative and entertaining! The guides were very knowledgeable and also very safety oriented. This is the tour to take if you are fun loving, active... More

We booked with Jax. They gave glass bottom kayaks and a friendly and informative staff. The experience is magical!

This is a must see. Going into it I was sure I was going to be disappointed, but I was not. The water lit up as we touched it. Tour guides were knowledgeable about the bay. This is an absolute must.

When visiting Vieques, put a kayak tour of the bioluminescent bay on your to-do list. Don't miss this awesome experience! This time we used Taino Aqua Adventures. We were very pleased. (See Taino Aqua Adventures review for details). The bio bay is simply an amazing, incredible, magical experience. Can't really be described in words.....just do it!!! It's an amazing experience... I booked through Viator which isn't the official tour. The owner Debbie from New Horizon was horrible. I paid $580 for 3 ppl to go to El Yunque, Luquio Beach and the Bio Bay. I specifically asked if the weather didn't permit would I receive a full or partial refund which they said yes to. Was dropped off at El... More

What else can I say that hasn't been written yet. Make sure you don miss this while in Vieques. It's an absolute must. Note that even if it's a day with full moon (as when we did it) you may check the time of the moon rise and still take the tour after it gets dark but before the moon... More

Make sure the Bio-bay is on your list of must do's. The boys talk about it as much as they do anything on the island. Less moon there really makes it better. Plan your time on Vieques around the Bio-bay, and plan the Bio-bay around the moon. We have been to the Bio-bay several times, and a few days makes... More
