THE mall to shop in Puerto Rico
Jun. 2021 • Couples
20JUN2021

Parking: easy to find and navigate (free)

Public transportation: buses go from Condado to here regularly (USD$0.75/person/way/exact change only)

COVID-19 precautions: like the entire island, masks required, temp checks and hand sanitizers at mall entrance doors, ample room to social distance

Why go here: This is where all the best fashions and highest end stores are OPEN.
Focus on Latino fashion businesses: Valija (women), Mango (m/w), Zara (m/w).

Warning: at this time, dressings rooms are closed, which means: 1) buy what you think fits and like, bring it home, try it on; 2) return what you don’t want; 3) LONG (I mean 20+ in line) lines at checkout; be patient, cashiers are very efficient and the lines move quickly; build in 30 minutes or bring a friend and get them in line.

Surprise: TJ Maxx and Marshalls have tons of great, inexpensive, beachwear. Check it out.

ok but needs more trendy stores
Feb. 2021
This mall is not what it use to be. A lot less stores since hurricane maria. Totally not worth visiting. It does have a lot of food in food court. About 25 different varieties of food. Most of the stores are gone. gap, old navy bath and body works and Victoria secret are the main stores there. Department stores macys and jc penney. I would not visit again.

One stop shop

I guess this has been my go-to mall in PR because of its proximity to most hotels in San Juan. Uber fares are cheap to get there and I can pretty much spend the entire day with a good variety of stores and restaurants at different price points.

Lots of American Stores
Feb. 2020
We were hoping for unique tourist stores but sadly nothing in this mall just tons of American Stores, I honestly could have been in a mall in Michigan. We walked around here for the afternoon but didn't buy anything, lots of sales and great prices! It is fancy inside with all the decorations and lots of restaurants. We came to this mall to eat at The Cheesecake Factory since that is a must do when I travel! If I wasn't going on a cruise during this vacation I may have shopped at JcPenny for clothing and shoes plus those bag limits on planes too. You could spend hours in here and loved that it wasn't expensive to take a taxi from Old San Juan to this locations.

A good day out away from the sun
Dec. 2019 • Solo
The mall itself was big, it had a lot of potential to be one of the biggest shopping malls in the Caribbean like its advertisement. However, there was a lot of empty shops. I was disappointed when I visited cause I was expecting it to have all the branded as it was advertised as “biggest” shopping mall in the Caribbean. However, it was a lot of food choices to choose from and a lot of parking spots.

It's a mall
Jan. 2020
I always like to check out the malls when I'm on vacation. Plaza Las Americas is huge but has basically the same stores as any mall in the States. It's very pretty but nothing exciting. The best part was the local artists that have tables set up in various spots. I was able to buy some beautiful handcrafted gifts. I have no reason to return to this mall though.

One of the largest malls I've ever been to. Three floors with many restaurants. Lots of stores from the United States and many local stores. Has a movie theater. There is a taxi line and valet parking. Amazing decorated.

Marcos Pizza manager stole our Credit card
Dec. 2019 • Friends
The on-duty manager (a female in glasses) never returned our credit card and lied about giving it back
when we brought Ranger America to their counter.
She’s a damm thief!
