“Nice little fort next to the Caribe Hilton Hotel!”
This small military museum was a fort that was built in 1786, and attacked by the British eleven years later.

We saw this massive Fort from the deck of our tour boat out in the harbor. It was truly an awe-inspiring sight. I had no idea it was even there until I visited Puerto Rico, as I don't know that much about the Island's history....More

We were able to see this from the beach and it did look fantastic. I heard that it was actually closed to tourist for now due to some damage from the Hurricanes. We will look to re-visit in a few months.

The fort is situated right next to the Caribe Hilton that unfortunately was hit pretty bad from the hurricane and is closed off for renovations until mid 2018. The fort is closed so we were only able to see it from the outside

Pretty walk along the Condado Lagoon to walk back to this fort. There are spots for good water views, but the actual fort was closed.

I approached this from all angles and you cannot actually enter. It's gated. If you are adventurous and approach it from Paseo Caribe you can climb on top of the side and walk in that way. However since it is gated and locked, it's probably...More
