Loved the history I walked around that fort for almost 3 hours and then realized I had only see maybe half of it. Being on a time limit we had to cut our tour short...lol

The fort itself is closed but still offers nice views of Condado. It is easily accessed behind the Hilton. Even though it is closed you can explore it easy enough if you so desire, though there is not much to see inside as it is empty besides a couple cannon and small.

This fort sits just outside of the Caribe Hilton. It is blocked off and looks to be under restoration. There are several photos in the review of this fort that are actually of el Morro or Cristobal. There is a black and white photo in the reviews that show what this fort is. It might be worth walking outside if... More

Pretty walk along the Condado Lagoon to walk back to this fort. There are spots for good water views, but the actual fort was closed.

I approached this from all angles and you cannot actually enter. It's gated. If you are adventurous and approach it from Paseo Caribe you can climb on top of the side and walk in that way. However since it is gated and locked, it's probably not safe to do that.

Fortin de San Geronimo del Boqueron is operated by the U.S. Park Service. It's partially closed to the public due to restoration. The park is a historical and beautiful place but we were unable to visit the inside.

A must see. So much history and amazing views. There are so much space to cover, from where the soldiers slept, where they went to chapel and overall how they lived. You can also see where they had the cannons placed to protect themselves from approaching ships.

Old small fort undergoing renovations at the moment. It is hidden by the Caribe Hilton facilities. Not much to see.
