This beach was very mediocre the waves were rather rough and menacing. Also it wasn't very clear. We should have listened to the locals and went to the beach they recommended.

We went for an afternoon stroll along the beach before dinner. I wish we had more time to spend there as you could walk the beach for hours. The sound of the waves coming in is like music to my ears. I can't wait to...More

The guys in the red suits aren't certified life guards They are "volunteers" trying to make a buck. They have no authority to tell you where to swim..

clean, nice sand, no rocks, easy to travel from hotels to restaurants via the beach. when we went, there were red flags the entire time, but we could still go in the water.

This area of Puerto Rico is amazing! There is a couple of abandoned condos that trash it up but the people selling the use of their chairs are beyond friendly. Love Avenida Ashford - what a great place to stay, you can walk everywhere. Cannot...More

A very constrained beach. Lots of hotel towers (some of them abandoned shells), so it's packed and in the shade. Massive waves. I'd try to go somewhere else. Maybe people come to the neighborhood for the expensive shops.

Condado Beach is clean with white sand and great waves. You have to watch out for the rip tide because there are rocks on either end and some underwater. Beware that the widest part of the beach is in front of the Atlantic Beach Hotel....More

I arrived late at night to my oceanfront hotel and in the morning opened the curtains to see a most stunning beach. Already the air was warm and people were frolicking about the surf in the clean ocean water. The scene was most inviting -...More

It is a nice beach if you are staying in Condado. Lots of people there so expect it to be crowded. I also heard the current is quite dangerous here.

Flat $15 taxi. Uber not allowed in airport. Took Uber other places though.
HI, We will in Condado during Christmas time. We are looking at AirBnBs as well as hotels. Many of the AirBnBs do not include parking. I want to have a car as we like the sites outside of the city. Does anyone know if it is easy to find paid parking lots where you can pay to park overnight? Also, what do you suggest? Stay in Condado for 8 nights or is there any other places around the island to see. I am interested in seeing Ponce, Caves in Camuy, Rainforest, sugar cane plantation. I like beaches but don't like to sit on it all day. Thanks for any info.

The chairs and umbrellas are freely available to hotel guests for those hotels next to the beach on a first come/serve basis. Some of the hotels that are not next to the beach have agreements with the hotels with access so... More
