If you are tired of the crowded movie theater in the mall come to Santurce quiet near all the restaurants not to crowded comfortable clean the only downside is they don't have parking but there a parking lot near and if you punch the parking ticket at the movie theater is 389 no matter how long you took. For a small theatre we found it to be nice. We weren't too happy with the stale popcorn that we got but overall it was okay. Note: We went on a Wednesday at 2:15pm and I believe the price of the tickets for each adult was only $4. Maybe they offer tickets for low prices during the weekday. Popcorn +... More

This movie theatre is small - only three screens - and cheap. It gets most of the major movies that come out in San Juan, but because there are only three screens, there's a high movie turnover. You can buy tea, hot chocolate, wine, and cakes in addition to the standard popcorn and soda fare. This movie theatre is right... More

If you are tired of going to the movies in a mall, the Metro Theater in the Santurce district is the place to go. Originally built and owned by MGM in the early fifties, it was a classic movie palace until it was renovated some years ago to add 3 more screens. However, it still retains most of it's charm.

this is where we see the opera transmitted live from the NY MET. Seats are NOT the most comfortable BUT they do have a 3D theater and the opera is the BEST. Parking is down the street in a safe, in door garage.

If you are a movie fan thar can not wait to see the latest movie and is around Condado or Isla Verde hotels, take a bus and fulfill your craving. The Metro is easily access by public bus.

A great theatre chain that delivers with clean theatres, polite personnel and first-run movies in English and in Spanish. Check out www.caribbeancinemas.com Down the road from this theatre is their other theatre, The Fine Arts, which features Art Films, European Films and hipster stuff! The BEST part is their "Wednesday Discount" for ladies!!! YAY!!! Also, MetOpera in HD is not... More
