We were walking around town and came by to see this without looking in the TripAdvisor. Nice stop to check around.

A very nice plaza, with so much history. A striking column rises above it, and there are plenty of areas to relax and take in the views of the ocean.

I ussually visit Old San Juan and I park (undergroung parking) at the Five Centuries Plaza. Immediately you'll feel that Caribbean and Spanish ambiance that characterizes one of Puerto Ricos capitla and oldest cities. Excellent sculptures, tradicional buildings, same streets as 400 years ago, lots of art, many walking in the citiy is very safe, free transportation within the city... More

A nice place to sit and rest after walking your feet off through the streets of Old San Juan. Nice breezes, lots of people to watch, a cool interactive fountain that kids love to cool off in, steps away from Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

Nice views from the plaza. I was not to impressed with the Totem. It everything goes in terms of "five" why wasn't the pole 50 feet tall instead of 40? I should have asked the guide!

The Plaza Quinto Centenario is guard by a totem and has a floor fountain that is a perfect place for kids. Refresh the caribbean weather in this kid's fun spot.
