I don't recommend this walk in the heat of the day, but it is lovely in the evening around or after sunset. The view is very pretty with the sunset or just lit by the city across the bay. If you go once it is dark, half way down the path closes off at dark and you cannot continue on--forcing... More

This is a nice place to stroll, enjoy street vendors and to just sit and enjoy the environment. We were in the area twice and one day had vendors and the other didn't. I am guessing it has to do with when the cruise ships come in and the day of the week.

We started by Pier 1 and walked this beautiful tree lined boulevard. This Paseo turns into Paseo del Morrow. Both are on the SJ bay with the wall above you. So we decided to go thru the SJ gate to see the bay from above. This was a good move as the gate or portal turns into a really unique... More

A nice strolling street. On weekends, lots of vendors, but even during the weekdays, it's a beautiful strolling area with shade trees and benches.

We stopped here on a tour from our ship. We received a talk on the history of Puerto Rican rums and a couple of good drinks. The spot itself is tucked away at the base of the old city walls along the seafront promenade.

A nice scenic sight with a fountain and some great views of the bay. A short walk from the arriving cruise ship piers.

The place is a small plaza right in front of a very old building that used to be a prison in the colonial times. Walking there is very safe and confortable.

The fountain is just lovely and a great place for sunrise/sunset pictures. The fountain can be viewed from all around and is quite impressive.

If you do nothing else, take a stroll down this beautiful promenade. The gorgeous views alone are worth your time and even on a hot day, the shade and ocean breezes make this a pleas stroll.
