Sorry To Say...Nothing Of Interest
Aug. 2019
Main Street Not!...In New York they would say...Forget About It...and so will we. Just call me out of sync with most others but that would not be the first time. Nothing of Interest here. Columbus was great...not this street.

Beautiful History
Feb. 2019 • Family
I came to Carolina Puerto Rico with my family on a birthday trip and Calle Fortaleza and the Castle San Cristobal in Old San Juan were some of the destinations on my bucket list. The Avenue of Umbrellas was gorgeous and it sits right in front of the Governors Mansion which is equally breathtaking. My daughter and husband loved the whole experience of the shops, monuments and restaurants in Old San Juan. We walked the entire time because everything was in pretty close proximity. My only suggestion is to bring cash for the street vendors and wear comfortable shoes!

The street is very good-
Dec. 2018
Fortaleza street is great. Ranges from #1- the governor's mansion to the end, about a mile. However, #104 is just a closed building, that used to house a hardware store. The street is full of ambiance. Another comment is that the information on the sign at Barrachina about inventing Piña Colada is not correct. The Piña Colada was invented at the Caribe Hilton by a Puerto Rican bartender, around 1954.

Beautiful street in Old Town
Jan. 2015 • Couples
Cobblestone streets and beautiful, colourful architecture. Maybe most beautiful street in Old Town and full of people. Look out the plate where Pina Colada was invented.
