Visited here recently and walked along a walkway around the port out around the base of the portal fort. Climbed some steps up to the fish for fabulous views out to see and across San Juan. Well worth a visit.

You can walk Old San Juan. Start at the castle, walk the streets (some up and down hills). Cute shops. End at the Fort, the views are excellent. Bring water and walking shoes.

Cobblestone streets in the middle of colorful buildings and many chickens, roosters and cats! Happy and welcoming people in the busy city. Great coffee!!!!! So good. Favorite sites: the umbrella street, the warm weather, the history.

Simply wandering the streets is a delight. Go up a little further from the harbor. Look for decorative tiles and other touches on the residential streets

The weather is good for the most part all year round; our tour guide informed us that the beaches are occupied practically every day of the year.
