Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Manuel (MANWELL) was the greatest tour guide ever. I wish we could take him with us. Manuel was very professional, kind-hearted, and a bundle of joy from the beginning till the end. We stopped along the way to the hidden falls and took pictures overlooking the view of old San Juan. Also, we stopped and got sweet bread (Pan Sobao). We reached our destination of the falls. The view and the experience were breathtaking. It was so unreal but real at the same time. After hiking up and down the waterfall, we got caught in the rain, and it was nature at its purest and most beautiful to see. After completing the hike, we went to eat. The food was so delicious! On our way back to our drop-off spot, we did karaoke from Cardi B to Piles to Gasolina to Lion King Hakuna Matata/ I can't wait to be King to Perfect! Thank you for such an amazing experience. I highly recommend anyone complete this excursion.

Fun tour that shows something different than the usual tourist sites. Goes up in the mountains and includes lunch at neighborhood cafe selling regional food. Very helpful tour guide who provides a lot of interesting information about everyday life in PR.

Prepare yourself; this is no ordinary hike. It challenges your endurance and rewards you with the sheer beauty of the forest. We had Manuel as our host, and if you’re fortunate enough to get him, you’re in for a treat. From the personal pickup at our hotel to the drop-off, Manuel ensured we were having fun, learning about the history of Puerto Rico, and capturing every special moment for us.

The hike itself isn’t difficult in terms of elevation; it involves continuous climbing and jumping over and through water. Bring very good shoes with traction but be prepared to get wet and fall—it’s inevitable. However, Manuel was always within arm’s reach, ready to assist on slippery rocks or steep inclines. As you venture deeper into the jungle, you’ll eventually reach the 130-foot waterfall and swimming hole.

Take your time to soak in the beauty of this area. Swim, climb, and relax. For the most part, you and your group will be alone. We encountered a total of four other people on the trail during our adventure.

If you’re looking for a unique experience at a hidden waterfall in the jungle, this tour is for you. Just ask for Manuel ;)

P.S. It’s a great spot to propose, for those gentlemen considering popping the question.

From start to finish this was an excellent tour. Jerry was so fun and a font of knowledge. He happily answered all of our questions and we had a lot! Every aspect of the trip was very well-thought-out. I loved the the ride up and down the mountain and the views from the top were spectacular. The lunch of typical Puerto Rican fare was delicious. All-in-all, it was a great day. Jerry is one of the best guides I have ever had. I highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I did this hike and I am so glad we did. Manuel was awesome and funny, he made all the visitors on the tour welcoming to one another it was no awkward moments thanks to him and his outgoing personality. Please do not hesitate to book this was the most fun that we had on our trip even though my hubby lost his phone when he dived in the water but none the less it was all worth it and we got a video of our adventure!!!

Jerry was an amazing guide who shared a lot of information about PR. Pick up and drop off was from our AirB&B which was very convenient. Views of San Juan from the top of the mountain were amazing!

A bit of town, country, and culture started at 10, ended about 2:30 with a lunch along the way. Jerry always with insightful commentary on the past and present of the island with more than a touch of humor.
Coffee in San Juan and then a stroll around the Capital grounds. Over to the port area then later to Isla de Cabras for great scenery and beach and photos. Lunch with great local foods then up in the peaceful mountains of the inner island away from the hustle and bustle.
All the while with fun and informative good conversation with Jerry and diverse traveling companions.
This is an excellent and fun addition to the rain forest and Old San Juan excursions you might choose.

This tour took us to sights around San Juan that we didn’t see on other tours. Our guide, Jerry, was punctual, professional, very knowledgeable, humorous, and hospitable. He shared insights on Puerto Rican society, history, traditions, and politics. The drive got us out of the city, and showed us the mountainous region surrounding San Juan.

Had a wonderful experience exploring old San Juan & the mountain region. Jerry is extremely knowledgeable of the history of Puerto Rico. It was an off the beaten path tour and we enjoyed spending the day with Jerry. Lunch was at a mom & pop business. Delicious food! I would highly recommend this tour & you can't beat the price for what you get.
