Excellent snorkeling spot, I was amazed by all the types of ocean flora, I didn't see many fishes though. It has a long coral reef so you can spend a couple of hours snorkeling peacefully. It has easy access, highly recommend!

Hidden gem since not a lot of people know about this beach in Culebra but the snorkeling is just amazing!!!! If you are a serious snorkeler, go to Tamarindo Beach first thing in the morning and then head to Melones. Bring water and snacks. Give yourself at least 2 hours to explore the reef in detail.

What more can you ask for than a snorkeling beach you can drive to with access right behind the beach sign at the parking lot. I saw fish from the moment my mask hit the water. As I was swimming along the coral to the right the visibility quickly became crystal clear and the spectacular fan corals began to appear.... More

It is a left turn a little ahead of the ferry terminal. The road divides with one going uphill to a hospital and the other straight to Melones. There is a stretch of beach on the left where you can relax under the trees or the picnic tables. The other stretch straight ahead is excellent for snorkeling. There was a... More

Our favorite place to snorkel in Culebra. The coral was intact and beautiful. Be careful because the coral is tall and the tide could be low. But there are plenty of sand areas you can use as tunnels thru the coral while navigating the current. Entering and exiting can be a bit tricky because there're lots of rocks and reef... More

Located on the western side of Culebra, overlooking Luis Peña Cay is a great quiet place to sit down and just listen to nothing. Extremely quiet and secluded. Easy drive from the main town of Dewey.

We attempted to snorkel here but did not find the beach very impressive nor the snorkeling. It is fairly close to the center of town so it's easily accessible to people staying in town. Wish I had more to say.

Watch the sunset. Reef out further is the nicest. Go out by the picnic benches by the beach sign. You can park right on the beach. Mostly rocky, best for snorkeling and picnics/

The beach is rocky and long. We walked way down and back. The snorkeling was like swimming in a fish tank. Schools of beautiful fish and even a turtle. Saw a snorkel tour bring people here but it is easy to do from shore.
