Well, we went there on a cloudy day, so maybe we were not in the best mood, and the colors were not as pretty. But I really cannot understand the hype about this place. Yeah sure, it is 60 mt deep, and when you swim it makes you feel weird knowing that that lagoon is so deep, but does it... More

This place is just gorgeous. I took friends there and we did the boat tour which was an awesome experience. The guest houses built around the lagoon are beautiful to look at and have had some very famous visitors over the years to include Brooke Shields and Beyonce.

Well, yes it is free in theory to swim in the lagoon, but if you are visiting then do it in style, get Tony to take you in his raft across to Pellew Island, get off and have a swim, he will then take you back to the lagoon and you can swim in this fabulously beautiful place and jump... More

Beautiful spot to relax for the day. The water is pleasantly cool and crystal clear. If you don't want to go on the rafts just ignore the boatmen and you can wade to the concrete platform to the right of the docks. If you swim across the lagoon there is a tree to climb and jump off.

You can take the raft to the beach on the other side of the lagoon or a boat trip around monkey island.

I stayed at Wilks bay resort & they had a kayak for the gusts that I took over to the Blue Hole. As an avid free diver this place was a dream. Very quiet & wide open to explore. I recommend exploring on your own kayak if possible. The hidden gem is in the back corner under the trees to... More

We went to the blue lagoon & one of the rafting tours. The water is fresh & amazing. Would definitely recommend raft instead of boat as you can go on and off to swim as you feel like. Rafting guy was very friendly, told us about the history of the lagoon and took us around to monkey island (not the... More

We drove to this attraction based on the internet ratings and had to run from there to escape a super, super insistent vendor (he said that he was a captain) who tried to sell us lagoon boat and bamboo floating things rides. Too bad that we couldn't enjoy what was there (I suppose a nice ride in the lagoon).

We were in the Port Antonio area in early February of 2017. We stopped by the Blue Lagoon to see what it was about. Don't be expecting amazing things. Granted, we did not spend the $30/person to take a raft ride out into the lagoon, so we did not get a full view of the area. But we were able... More

Such a beautiful place! Just wish they had a public restroom. Other than that its untapped beauty that is simply breathtaking every time!
