It's part of a resort so you're paying $10 a day per person to be on the beach. Drinks and food are more expensive but good.

You can take food to the beach but note that there is a little walk from the parking to the beach. You will not be allowed to do things like a BBQ on the beach. If you are staying at a villa however you will be able to do a... More

It's probably hip high for an adult. So depending on the age of the kid it sould be fine.
