If you find yourself in Portland and on a short time schedule Reach falls is the thing to do! I lived in Portland for 2 months and did everything there. This place was my absolute favorite out of all the great things Portland has to offer. You pay 1200 J ($10) at the top of the falls and this includes... More

We drove here from our hotel in Port Antonio. The drive was incredible. You see so much beautiful foliage and get a feel for the landscape and the area. The falls was were great. There's a nice parking lot and you pay your $10 entry fee and proceed to walk down towards the falls. There are nice restrooms and a... More

I was pretty skeptical after all the stories of the locals. But all is true; the falls are one of the most beautiful sights in Jamaica. We loved the "adventurous" way of exploring the falls. Be careful: there a lot of hustlers before the entrance who "lure" (or force) naive tourists to the unofficial falls. These are pretty crappy compared... More

If you are staying anywhere near Port Antonio, you will inevitably come here (it's about 45 minutes away.) You will be seriously doused with water right off the bat as you lunge through the falls to get to the cave within. Like being hit with a blast from a high-pressure hose, so be ready for it. You can't be wearing... More

The journey to get there through the country roads may be long & winding.. but once you actually find Reach Falls ..( signage needs improvement) the gusting pounding Falls offers a revitalizing day out! Tour guides ( for an additional fee) will help you to experience more by climbing the falls in an effort to "Reach out for more".. The... More

Nice waterfalls where you can jump into thr water and swim. You can also go for a short hike with a guide which is included in the entrance fee. Safe parking in front fof the reception, no annoying sellers.

The falls are about 90 minutes from Port Antonio. The roads are rough. You do get to see a lot of the towns and countryside. The falls are not that large. You can climb to the top and then go up the river. The rocks are slippery. Some people jump off the falls. This looks dangerous. The water at the... More

wow, just amazing. you go through the pounding falls (ladies, be careful with your bikini, i had an escaping boob afterwards *red face*), then up the river for a while. then into the mandingo cave and back down again. it can be hard to keep your balance when the river is running stronger (due to rains), but the guides help... Do it the locals way :) you can get there by route taxi or bus, which will leave you at the bottom of a road - its a bit of a steep climb, will be met by locals - they charge 10 dollars each and they take you through the river and up the falls - its so beautiful
