I went to Reach Falls years ago, but wanted to go back because I heard they had made some improvments to the site. It was definitely worth the revisit. It is relatively easy to find if you stick to the basic directions of staying on that main road until you see the signs telling you when to turn off. The... More

I recently had the opportunity to visit Reach Falls and it was well worth the drive from where we stayed in Kingston. The falls is beautiful and clean, but beware the water is a little cold. Our life guard/tour guide Kurt was amazing. We were able to climb the falls and went into a two secret caves which was just... More

Takes a while to get there, about 2 hours drive from Kingston but the journey takes you through little fishing villages along the coast and beautiful mountain views. Definitely worth the drive.

This is a small but spectacular waterfall in an intimate setting. The walk to get there is relatively short from the parking lot and it is very scenic. The whole experience is not to be missed. $10 US admission, currently open Wed to Sun. Bring a bathing suit, it's not only for looking at!

I always make a trip to this magical and beautiful place. Once you visit Reach you won't go back to Dunn's River. The drive is stunning and Reach people are naturally very friendly. Ask for Rennie 001876 328 6407 at the local shop he's the coolest guide in Jamaica and truly a kind and helpful person. Take time to sit... More

Stunning place! Crystal clear water. The water is so refreshing. Highly recommend taking the guided tour. The caves and holes make it quite an adventure!

Once again another trip around the Island. I went to the lovely parish of Portland on Saturday the 10th. I have always heard about Reach Falls but this was my first visit. Upon arrival we were greeted in a very pleasant manner and told where to park and where to collect arm bands. Very efficient, I thought. We then climbed... More

Reach Falls in ultimate rural purity...wow this is life! climbing then slipping into 10 foot depths where you swim a few strokes to catch hold of the next rock hold towards your objective. Exhilarating, but for the reasonably fit. Wear your sea shoes for grip, sure footed walking.
