Went for the day. nice sheltered cove, rocky entrance to the sea. You can have a really good lobster lunch from the bar. Local dogs on the beach are really pleasant. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful, quiet day at a private beach. Or bring all your friends and have a private beach party! The food is great and proprietors, Andrew & Tania are lovely. Always a good time.

Picked up from our beach near out hotell, Riu Palce Tropical Bay. Great crew on catamaran. We were able to snorkel off the catamaran. Half Moon Bay was very nice and the lunch provided was delicious, the lobster was lovely.

This beach is small but awesome, calming, great for a morning walk. Wake up with the sunrise and stroll.

Do you have to pay to go to Half Moon Beach (is it private)? If we hired a cab to take us, could we just go visit and decide if we wanted to boat out to the bar? :)

Yes, as it is private beach. But probably you can make a deal if you boat to "prates" island.
