Very beautiful, almost majestic in the coast of Negril.

we saw it on our sunset catamaran cruise, it looked very beautiful and majestic, right after we passed Rick's Cafe. Would love to see it up close.

The Negril Lighthouse and its property is now privately owned and not open to the public. You can peek through a chain link fence at it, but that's about it. Do consider eating right across the street, tho, at Penny's Seafood or just up the block at Murphy's

Wednesday afternoon, 5th of April and we were on a catamaran trip from Montego Bay to Negril, with our final stop at Rick's Bar to see the sunset. With some time on our hands we walked down the road to see the lighthouse close up as it looked impressive from our catamaran as we sailed by. Sadly when we got... More

unfortunately by now it is closed to the public. People told us it's because of the building which suffers from too many people walking there

We got here on the 16th of march in 2017, every gate to the lighthouse was locked. A local guy passing on the street told us that it is now private property and not accessible anymore.

Here is a good spot to visit and learn a little of the Jamaican west coast. It is good for a photo shoot. The only setback is rhat it does not seems to be always possible to enter the compound and also to find a car park.

Don't waste your time, we walked past Rick's Café to see it, all locked up, It has so much history and potential, amazing views if it were open!

It's nice to see where it's located but you can't access the property and you shouldn't try to trespass either! LOL A few dilapidated buildings still exist on the property where it's located - not sure why.

This place is behind a fence....or it was when we walked by, great photo ops! I'm sure they could offer a tour and with a lil love could be a nice attraction.
