Floyd's Pelican Bar is located past Black River and is a very unique destination. My husband discovered this little treasure from an article in the Caribbean Travel and Life magazine several years ago. Our driver Everald Gordon, (876) 353-6986, was skeptical but willing to help...More

A very unique experience to be certain. The tranquility of the space and the beauty of the water surrounding is spectacular. The food is literally caught and cooked fresh, so there is not a large menu selection, however I suspect most people go for the...More

We were going to Appleton's rum distillery and were going to follow the visit with either the YS Falls, Black River or here. Glad we picked the Pelican bar! Great place to hang out, relaxed vibe and plenty of characters. Definitely one of the most...More

I can't believe I hadn't reviewed this place sooner! It is one of the most unique attractions anywhere in the world! (Yes that is a bold statement, but I'm fairly sure it is unique). It is basically a bar about a mile out to see...More

We were in awe from the moment we saw it. We had the lobster lunch which was delish! I don't enjoy rice but finished every bite of theirs. Cooks/bar tenders were hilarious. Can't wait to go back again. Definite must do when in Jamaica.

The Pelican Bar should not be confused with any bar you may have visited. With no electricity your beverage may not be the coldest but the fresh fish will be just that. Some of the best food in Jamaica can be found at venues... More

The ride out there would be about an hour and half or so. They have standard bar menu, mix drinks and beer food as well. If you make the journey you will it be disappointed.
