It was a very typical experience of Jamaican shopping. I was okay with that but beware if you have children. There are some VERY explicit wood carvings of body parts that you would not want them to see right next to t-shirts and magnets and...More

We visited the GEM Palace in December of 2016 and purchased two bottles of rum. The front desk told us that the rum would be delivered to our ship automatically. We were slightly hesitant of this but they assured us they would get it there...More

This area is pretty typical of a tourist shopping center. The prices are inflated and a good majority of the stores work together to try to get you to buy from all of them. You will quickly realize that everybody has the same stuff and...More

My husband and I went here on a Royal Caribbean Excursion (on our Honeymoon trip) and stopped at the Taj Mahal for shopping. Our bus driver recommended the purple bee gift shop. We went inside and I can only explain our experience as being "bullied"....More

We went to the Taj Mahal shopping center as part of a nexus shopping trip, they have about 15-20 stores, jewelers, souvenir shops and cigar shops. They all seem to be selling the same stuff and they’re all a bit pushy with the sales. Some...More

Truly a ton of well priced souvenirs packed into a small area, free rum and coffee samples, blast your eardrums off music, and pushy sales. Not many prices listed so haggle and look through multiple stores for the best price before you buy (our resort...More
