You can walk here. Or get a shuttle. The place has sellers who will snatch cash from your hand as you are fumbling with bills. The place has prices that is at the seller's discretion. Often hyper inflated for unsuspecting tourist.

Loved the charming tropical vibe of this venue. Took some pictures in front of the cool Jamaican designed wall murals. Tried Scotchies Jerk Chicken and Pork, Cafe Blue Blue Mountain coffee, bought a nice fragrance from The Perfume Shop and a cool Jamaica Nice t-shirt. Even had a cold Red Stripe and hung out and listen to the Jamaican music. Look forward to coming back again and again.

this one is almost walking distance from the Hilton. Otherwise it's a free shuttle that comes/goes every half an hour. We were looking for a particular T-shirt we had seen at the hotel for $23. We weren't yet inside when the young lady told us that everything is off 50%. We saw the exact shirt and she quoted us $49 but today it's $25. Not a good start. Prices weren't showing anywhere. My husband wanted to pay with a credit card. No, that would cost an extra 15%; we should pay with cash (which we didn't bring). There was a lot of back/forth because we were ready to leave. Finally settled for $25 with a credit card. We learned that their sales tax is 16.5%.
It was abundantly clear that the shops charge whatever they want to but to get a decent price you'll have to pay cash. The shopping center itself looks rather nice. There are some jewelry and coffee shops, a grocery/liquor store where the lady hovered over me every second while walking around, the usual souvenir shops with less than authentic Jamaican items, etc. The shady benches were welcome. While waiting for the bus a Peacock came strutting along. That was the best part.
When you arrive there's a sign talking about Duty Free. Trust me, nothing is.
You'll probably do much better at store frequented by locals. Ask your hotel staff.
We had enough after 1/2 hour.

Love to go to the Royal Shop and see Peanut and the gentlemen that work there. Since i have been coming to Jamaica 1998, I have always bought jewelry from the Royal Show.

We had a free shuttle bus from hotel ,all shops the same all got inflated prices and offer discounts that get better the closer you get to the door .Every shop had same souvenirs, mugs, hats shirts and same price start high and come down .The jewellers were even worse halved his price straight away when we walked away.

Ok for short visit. Good for jewelry and watches. Has a Cafe Blue for Blue Mountain Coffee (42 US Dollars per pound beans) and a Coffee and Spice shop for Jablum(45) and Island Blue (42). Lots of souvenir shops but really lacks a duty free liquor shop. The prices in souvenir shops can be nearly 2/3 times airport prices. I wanted coffee so was pleased with prices. The coffee in Coffee and Spice shop at airport is more expensive for same brands. Try the Port Royal cart at airport. Coffee Roasters is good price (39).

at the end of mall, there is cigar shop, and across the street is grocery/gift shop. DO NOT GO THERE!! After shopping at cigar shop, when I entered shop they treated me like thief--while perusing some jerk sauce, another sales person stood so close to me she was almost touching me! After spending over $300 on cigars, did they think I was going to steal a $5 jar of jerk (I was only customer, at back of store). How insulting!!

The mall is not the largest mall, however it was very inviting. As soon as you come off the bus your are greeted with feel good music. They play a variety so everyone can feel at home. The jewellery stores had lovely items to offer. The gift shops also had some great stuff..you can Check out the WoW, blue lotus and caribbean hub. Take a pic by water wheel. They also had a jerk establishment with great food.

As stated in other reviews - walk around the plaza before you enter a shop. There are many jewelry stores, blue mountain coffee shop, clothing, hats, purses and lots of souvenirs. Also some interesting signs telling the history and culture of Jamaica.
