Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If your looking for a place where you can rent a beach house and or stay in a resort and feel safe to wander around, this is one of those places. Everyone I met along the way was very interested in socializing and went out of their way to tell me about places I may have missed on my own. Many local bars within walking distances and a party every five minutes down the road. We're talking walking.
Lots of small shops and a few grocery stores but some great beaches in the area. Many forms of transportation in the and of course the sunsets were breathtaking.
Highly recommend his place.

Freshly caught lobster, prepared while I wait. Beautiful surroundings, owner very friendly always smiling and joking with the customer.
Overall best lobster rundown I had in Jamaica.
Would definitely recommend this place, Little off the tourist area, but perfect if you want to have real authentic Jamaica food.

This was a great beach day on our Disney cruise. They had a pool, a spot for lunch, inflatables on the water and a nice beach.

There are several Villa's to rent here. We chose a fully staffed home on the Point of Discovery Bay. Yes you could have stayed here without ever seeing any of Jamaica and been perfectly entertained and waited upon....however we are Golfers and our mission was to golf..golf...golf...the home came with a putting Course along with every water sport you would care to try. The Staff was amazing and the Chef was terrific as well as just a great guy. Yes we will return,,,,and if your looking for Privacy and Service... expect to pay for it but it is well worth it.

We came here in October 2011 courtesy of our taxi driver we hired for the day to take us out around the island to see some of the lovely Jamaican sites that tourists don’t always get to see as they are not so much advertised by the resorts. Located to the side of the main road, Columbus Park is the site where Christopher Columbus first arrived in Jamaica and the area is laid out as an open-air museum. There is a guide there every day who gives you lots of information about the site whilst walking round. There are some plaques and information boards too that tell you a little information but the area could do with some restoration in places to preserve this great historical site and improve the attraction.
Overall the visit was about half an hour long and was a great historical lesson that gave us some beautiful views. A must see if you’re a history lover or if you wish to learn some of Jamaica’s history and cultural past.
