Paikka on Guadeloupen itäisin kohta, noin 15 km hyväkuntoista tietä Saint-Francoisista. Auton saa hyvin parkkiin ja ylös ristille ja upeita maisemia katsomaan pääsee pienellä kävelyllä hyväkuntoista polkua ja portaita pitkin. Maisema on ehdottomasti käymisen arvoinen! Myös alhaalla rannalla kannattaa poiketa maisemia ja tyrskyjä katselemassa. Suosittelen...More

The view and the power of the waves where so powerful. We could of stayed there all day. Natural beauty at its best! Wish I had taken a video to show you the sights and sounds of the beautiful waves crashing on the rocks. Love...More

The main draw here are the rugged coastal views, with enormous waves crashing against tall jagged rock formations, with the tallest of these sporting a cross. Hiking is permitted to much of this area, but we came primarily for the amazing stretch of beach, with...More

Nice place to hike around and take a break from the beach. Food trucks available for eats or bring a picnic. Could spend a few hours hiking around. Probably a good place for sunrise sunset. Lots of tourists.

Refreshing walk to the left through the trees. Overlook the ocean and see the waves crashing down. Lovely view. Fresh air. Than take a walk down the path for a beautiful from below. Fairly easy walks. Be sure to take water.

Walk up to the cross and enjoy the panorama with the table of orientation. Just relax and watch the waves. Beautiful coastline.

If you never been to a cape, you might start with this one. If you have ever been to one, do not bother. Unless you want to buy a horrendous souvenir from the vendors located on this place. This is the far as you can...More

This short, 15 min hike at the extreme eastern end of the island will give you dramatic views, and if a clear day some views of other islands. There is no shade. Parking can be tight. You can go to the beach as well. There...More

We came here towards the end of the day hoping for a sunset. Weather did not cooperate but it was still a nice place to stop. We hiked up (easy) to the cross, wandered around up top for a bit. There are some beach areas...More

Despite the name Pointe des Chateaux (castle point) there is no castle. Just a good view of the island's lands end. Some way to travel but not suitable for a swim. But there is a suitable beach about a mile away. Park carefully to allow...More

We went toward sunset and the colors were unbelievable. However, it meant a drive back in the dark (to Point a Pitre) which wasn't so fun. It would be much easier if you were only driving back to St Francois, or even Sainte... More
