Nice swimming beach with decent restaurant

Easy to find just before you get to St Francois. Good swimming. Snorkeling not great. Restaurant quite good. Food trucks looked enticing also.

Very nice beach. Facilities and parking. It is great for families and just off the main road. I would not recommend it in the middle of the day, unless you are lucky enough to snag a spot under one of the trees, as the sun is very strong.

We visited several beaches on our visit. We stopped by here to enjoy the lunch trucks and the activity. The beach itself is not ideal...crowded, sea weed. Enjoy the surf elsewhere on the island, but for a fun lunch this is good.

this beach was a short 5-minute drive from where my boyfriend and I were staying (about a 25 minute walk), and after exploring all of Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre, this was by far our favorite beach. gorgeous clear turquoise water, powder white sand, and never crowded. palm trees provide shade, and you might just see a vendor climb one of the... The Plage des Raisins Clairs was, for us, just a stone's throw from our apartment rental. We walked to the beach daily. Easy access into the water (not true for other parts of the nearby beaches which are pure rocks to the water edge). There were parts that were somewhat protected from the waves, making it a quiet area for... More

this beach is fabulous. it's my favorite along the south coast of grande terre. it has the right balance of fun/activity and relaxation. not to mention the beach is excellent for swimming in and to lay at. the water is just gorgeous here with a beautiful view, and it's easy to fall into a little nap while enjoying the breeze... Super place for swimming and it has a restaurant right on the beach. parking, like every good beach in Guadeloupe, is tough.

This beach was perfect. Easy parking, beautiful water, calm seas, soft sand, with plenty of space to spread your towel. Seemed to be popular with tourists as well as locals and very close to Saint Francois.

All in all, a very nice beach. Lots of space and shade although it does seem to get quite crowded (not St. Anne's type crowded but crowded nonetheless). Food trucks are quite good for lunch too.

We stopped at this beach on our way back from Pointes des chateaux. Nice beach with food vendors and a couple of picnic tables, a few benches and garbage cans. We stopped for a bite to eat, 2 picnic tables were taken but there were also some benches that worked out just fine for a picnic lunch of baguettes, camembert,... More
